Double convex lenses have two outward curved surfaces, normally the two surfaces have same radius of curvature, with finely polished. Bi convex lenses have positive focal length, so they are used for 1:1 imaging and in multi-element systems. Bi convex lens is a good choice when the object and image are at equal or near equal distance from the lens. Bi convex lens spherical aberration is larger than that of plano convex lens, so focal length may not gather at one point. We manufacture bi convex lenses with optical flint glasses, crown glasses, UV grade fused silica glass and infrared glasses. AR coating is applied to the surfaces of bi convex lenses for enhancing transmission.

Q1: Do you provide free samples ?
Yes, we provide free samples if we have the items in stock. If we do not have the items in stock, we need to make, the tooling cost will be refunded you when you order the items in large quantity in the future.
Q2: What is the production lead time for samples and bulk order ?
Normally, we are able to send samples in 2 week. For large quantity order like 1000pcs or 2000pcs, we are able to send in 4-5 weeks.
Q3: How will you send the goods ?
We have been working with express courier DHL and UPS for more than 10 years, we send optics by DHL or UPS.
